I think they are thinking its running lean due to the S/C and the fuel map from TRD

 

A ton of factors play into you a/f ratio thats all I am saying. This kid could be running pig rich for all we know right?

 

The SC using the TRD map was tested in a magazine (Sport Compact Car, I believe) and was found to be running a little lean. Also, Karl's 311 WHP s/c'd tC was dyno tested too, before switching from the TRD Map to Emanage. It was running lean as well.

 

These all had pulleys or other upgrade such as header, or full exhaust. I believe this person only wants to run a CAI with everything else stock. Yes its always wise to keep and eye on things but no reason to work yourself up over nothing either you know?

 

The one in SCC was stock - no pulley, no header.
