Default Supercharger cost

I'm getting the '07 model when it comes out and I have to have the supercharger, well when I was talking to a guy at the dealership and he said that I would have to pay the full price of the supercharger up front, that it couldnt be financed with the car, is this true? The guy I talked to didnt seem to really know what he was talking about when it came to the Scion's.

call scion directly, the idea is that YOU CAN finance the super, they want that. otherwise i don't think you can finance it WITH the car in one price, but seperately. or something like that.

No, technically you're not supposed to be able to finance the supercharger. However, a way around it is to use what would have been your downpayment on the car to pay for the s/c.

pick the car you want
pick the options you want (supercharger)

get price

as long as the downpayment is more than 4-5k then you're good to go.

I just bought my 06 tc and you cant the supercharger as an option. You buy the car and then you can buy it over the counter as an accesory, but you still cant finance it.

^^ I just think that you can't finance it through Toyota. If you get your own financing elsewhere (credit union as suggested) you're just handing over the money for whatever you want... they can't really say no.

The dealer will not do the paperwork with the sc on it so a credit union will not accept it. Also a credit union will only finance up to a cetain percent of the vehicles value. Just save your pennys and pay for the thing. Mine cost me $2950 or so from trd sparks. Those guys rock!

you cant add the supercharger onto the car as an option and then finance it. dealer will not allow that. you have to purchase the car and then purchase the supercharger.
