No one that knows me would accuse me of being a slow driver. On the other hand, I dont always run the car hard. I dont have any real "city" or "highway" driving. Before the s/c, I used to average 27-29 running 18" wheels (28-30 on the stockers). On an almost all highway trip with the 18"s, I got 31.5. My first tank with s/c I only got 20.8 mpg. I think its awesome the mileage is getting better.

Can we start adding what type of transmission we have to all these S/c MPG threads? I get about 20 on a good day with my RS1. But I think I'm driving easy but then I realize that there was the here or there of 6k rpm driving, oops. Thanks

No need to specify what tranny, becauase the s/c is only available for the manual tranny at this time. I should also add that I am running 18's as well (a little on the heavy side). My wheels are almost 5 lbs heavier (each) than stocks. That could very well be a factor. I will update again soon. Almost done with another tank. Looks like its still getting better. Will keep you guys posted.

I do a lot of 75mph driving - from what I hear .... i will be running some kinda boost even w/ cruise on. Can someone tell me if this is true and if it is....how much would i be running about?

Boost is determined by engine RPM so you would at 75mph. How much, don't know.

I ran my fourth tank through last weekend and only got 23.5 so I was kinda disappointed after gettin 26.3. I'll see what happens on this current tank.

With the supercharger you will not see any boost with the cruise control on at 75mph. Hell you won't even see any at 85mph (this is what Ialways set myt cruise at on my way to PA). The only time you will see boost is when you get on it.
