The superhieuman custom turbocharged tC
lol, i hate you guys.
blew the engine up, swapped for a new one with built internals
blew the turbo because i didnt' fix the kinked return line on time.
now returning back to stock because i have to get it sent out for a rebuild, will be taking motor out to redo somethings, will post DIY someday soon. lol.

Yahh motor swaps are fun, Last weekend was a fun one for myself. Took members car on Friday, Removed motor from car, began tear down. replaced pistons, Piston rings, did a hone. checked all bearings, cleaned block. BS delete. Oem HG ptuning head studs. Assembled motor, Pulled tranny apart inspected 3rd gear grind. Modded 3rd gear. swapped in TRD lsd. reassmbled and he drove it home on sunday night. Mind you i class for 6 hours on sat and on sunday...
Just did compression test to verify all was good, On a cold commpression test. was 155s across the board
WOOT WOOT

155 for a cold engine with no oil on rings? How many motors you test? Most tc's ive tested stock form are 155-170 warm.
As well aftermarket pistons run bigger ring gaps.
What have you found cold motors to be at?
We tested 3 tc's last weekend. two turbo 1 09 stock.. they were all 160's warm? Snap on gauge

idk if it ambiant temps have anything to do with it but iv tested mine with 5cranks cold and 10cranks cold with efi fuse pulled and injectors unpluged for good measure and always came up with 175-180. on warm with 5cranks 180accross the board, 10 was 200. did it to carlos's car and kyle's car and marcial's car and just did it again to my car. all pretty much the same. except my car this time failed on #4piston which was 5%lower than the rest. not a big deal but still concerns me (about my engine). so its not like im a noob to this bro.
