"SYSTEM TOO RICH" help diagnose..
well today my car started driving funny then i got a check engine light, SYSTEM TOO RICH
my thoughts....
non recirculated bov and it being too loosely adjusted, i say this because itll open even when im cruising around 20 vac and let off
the car doesnt stall when i stop but the rpms do drop to about 500 and jump back up past 1k and then settle at 650
only things ive done lately since installing the kit was get the new bov and have not adjusted it perfect....and also i put 1 step colder copper plugs with a .028 gap, i think i might raise the gap to .032

I would also suggest a scan guage....sounds like a bov problem (sticking open sometimes) also its you tune i think...the fuel trims sound out of wac. find out what your fuel trims are and afr's.
if ima go about checking al that i might as well go front the money now for a FIC and start tuning on my own, then take it to toan at ptuning to finalize my tune cuz i do some pretty nice base tunes
yea like when im driving around with window down everytime i hit the clutch i can her the bov letting out air, i think ima just tap my intake pipe and put a fitting on it and have my bov recirculate into it
sometimes the bov still opens even in vacuum when you let off the throttle, it might not be your bov.. just need something to tune, maybe you just need o reset your fuel trims
^^ thing is iv never gotten that code running without engine managment and stock injectors...i could understand if it was 550cc injectors and no engine managment....i could also understand a maf out of range code.
you have to get an afr gauge though.. it may not be as rich as you would think.. i've got rich and lean codes when I dont even notice those, sometimes its just the ecu thinking that way if it goes a bit over your fuel trims
yea i know i pmed carbon about his gauge...ive been meaning to go to a dyno to see my actual wot afr
