Default Thinkin about getting a turbo soon.

So I'm thinkin about turboing my car soon. Possibly as soon as Spring rolls around. One thing I would like before doing this would be your recommendations. I'm thinking about getting the Dezod/Force Fed Concepts Sciontology turbo, How ever I'll be going to college in a little over a half a year. I wanted to know if it's a good idea to turbo my car if I'm gonna go away to college or not. I won't be running the car into the ground but I won't have the money to buy a new tC should something major happen to the car. I understand that if you get a good turbo, properly installed and tuned, Get, install, and monitor gauges such as boost, oil pressure etc, everything should be ok. But from your previous experiences would it be a bad idea to get it turbo'd?

my personal advice is if you run into some of the problems i ran into, save your money that you would have spend on the turbo for booze when you go away to school

^^ That's true. That's the thing I'm worried about. I'll have enough money to pay for the turbo and the install, I just don't want something to go insanely wrong while I'm at college. I don't mean like an Oil leak or stuff like that, I'm thinkin Blown motor, blown turbo, blown intake manifold etc.

yeah i know what you mean, i fixed up all of my problems so far except for one which is at idle the car idles really rough, midterms r messing me up tho so i dont have time to find out whats causing it. as long as you get it installed preperly, and get it tuned asap i dont see why you should have any major problems.

just keep boost at normal range and don;t go crazy turning it up. Install the kit tune it and leave it there. Sounds more logic enjoying a car than to get drunk and behind the wheels so go safe install the turbo and enjoy it.

Theres a fine line to push that boozing too.... just like the fine line for boosting ;-).... I'd get the turbo....concentrate on school and enjoy your car... and last time I checked chicks are betta than booze.... chicks dig cars.... Turbo tC > booze
