Default Tiny leak on manifold LOL *Pics inside*

So me and my girlfriend decided to go to hooters and grab some wings. I noticed my exhaust sounded pretty loud, and thought maybe the gasket on my S-pipe was blown, as that's where the sound seemed to be coming from

When I got off the freeway my car sounded horrible and my A/F was --- at idle and not in the 13's like usually. So I get home, pop the hood and see this!

All i could do was laugh, the entire manifold was hanging by One last bolt and nut.

Since school is over and I work 1 mile from home, im going to take this opportunity and get everything jet hot coated So I guess some good came out of this

Thought you guys would like the pics

Well, mine did the same thing, was holding on by 1 bolt, but I found mine out on the dyno after I had driven 5 hours from LV to AZ! could you imagine if that last bolt had fallen off...

Why are the bolts in the wrong way in that picture. You should be bolting it from the top down.

^^ lol, depends on the manifold design.. with my mani and prolly all TT manifolds, bolting it top down will not hold anything, the thread is on the manifold side not the turbo side

Up or down the bolts in these pictures are in the wrong way unless he is using the bolts as studs then using a nut to bolt the manifold down. Hope everything goes back together OK.

no mine has the bolts coming from the bottom up. but you can see from the pictures of his manifold that the bolt holes on the manifold flange are not threaded.

I have the bolts going from the bottom up because thats the only way they fit their is not much room between the manifold and the flange...

I cant wait to pull it out and get it coated
