I've said that before and someone gave me a bunch of crap saying "how the hell do you think adding a turbo will INCREASE mileage!?"

i dont thats another reason why i took it off.. but everything off and unplugged my - battery side left it off for 5 minutes and now im getting better gas millege

before i could watch my gas meter go down and now its in the same spot for 10 or 15 miles

yes...if done properly you will get better cruizing mpg and worse boosting mpg.

I have cruise afr between 15.3-16.4 at 65mph.. pretty good mileage

The turbo uses a waste byproduct (exhaust gas) to help make more power for acceleration. If the car is not driven that hard, it can have better fuel economy than stock if tuned well.
Can we figure out how to make a "turbo kit for dummies" post thats a sticky?

This quote needs to be near the top. Good one Paul more people need to see this.
