I have read of no problems on the 07+ version, this looks to be simply an economic reason.

There are those of us who do like our warranties and enjoyed the option ^^.

TRD did not drop the prices. My guess is that the prices will only go up as the supplies disappear.

Ken

that makes absolutely no sense. try again.

Yes it does. Allow me to demonstrate.

Supply: Down
(assumption)
Demand: Constant or increase

Price: Increase

Boy they'll hand out degrees to anyone these days, Go back to school and try a little economics and retail math. And read a newspaper every now and again. You might learn we're in a little thing called a recession...26 year high on unemployment, lots of people out of work...and no disposable income to spendy spendy on bling bling superchargers.

Inventory on Shelf: Yes
Paid for or Interest Bearing Debt for Inventory: Yes
Dealer Low Cash Flow: Yes
In Danger of Closing Business (read a paper for the stats on dealer closings for 2009): Yes
Recession: Yes
Demand: CONSTANT or DECREASE ( see answer to Recession)
Price : Drop

Demand does not suddenly increase simply because Toyo decides to stop making them. They stopped production on the 05'06...And what happened to the price when the 08's came out? The '05's dropped.

When in the history of retail (aside from a "collectible" item...and this is no collectible), have you known a discontinued item to not decrease?

Well since they are going to be replacing the tC soon (hopefully if times get better.) It makes sense that they wouldn't want to have any more of these laying around for new cars that won't be using them. Can only say mine has been the best modification I have done to the car. Great mod for the money.

S/C'er going out of production = increased prices....don't make sense sorry. Not like people going to poor in by the truck load to buy them just because they won't be making them anymore.

Another good thing about this is, we wont have to blame vortech anymore. They can get their reputation back! I bet you that's why they're discontinuing it because vortech complained from all the people complaining to them! WOOO. Good luck

You fail to see how stupid people in general really are:
