Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone knew the trd s/c map module could be reused on another ecu. I bought a used S/c and sent the used map module with auto tranny ecu to get the trd reflash, but TRD sparks said it wont accept the reflash. Is this normal? and does anyone have an unused map module they wanna sell me cheap?

Answers in order would be YES, YES and NO.

You could swap ECUs with the person you purchased from..then reset the ecu immobilizer to work in your car.

 

I own an auto TC, and i bought the used supercharger kit from a guy with an 5sp. He included his 5sp ecu with the reflash and the module. So what you are saying is there is some way i can take the reflash off his ECU and put it in my auto? Is this possible?

uh NO, that will not work. I meant if they shared the same transmission.
i assumed you bought this from another automatic. his ecm is worthless to you.

you need to purchase another flash module.
