Had a few questions for the S/C owners. First one is about how much did you pay for it? Second one is what all did it include (New / Flashed Computer?, Bigger Injectors?, ect.) And finally have you had any major problems with it (if you kept up regular maint.)

 

the lowest price you can get it from a dealer is trdsparks.com for $2,950. you can try to get a used or brand new one from a private party in the classifieds for cheaper.

the list of parts can be seen here in page 2 and pics of the parts in page 3.

the main problems seem to be:
- broken transmission mounting brackets (this problem was fixed for 07 and if you buy an 05-06 s/c, the bracket can be replaced under warranty for free)
- blown seal in s/c unit
- bearings going out

from what ive read, the last 2 problems are due to faulty installation so make sure you ask a lot of questions at the dealer you plan on doing the install at. they reflash the ecu for you. if you want to install the s/c yourself, i think the reflash module goes for 400-600 bucks. if the s/c is installed right, you should not have any issues. remember auto tranny needs a second reflash through the TIS machine and the auto fit kit which can also be found at trd sparks. search around, theres plenty of info all over this forum. hope this helps. let me know if you have any additional questions.
