Looks really good! The GT Touring bumper would look sick with that IC. To bad your not closer or I would sell you mine which is just laying around.

I am guessing pig rich 10.5 range when under boost. When not under boost 14.7 like all the other kits.

Come on boxman. You know 14.7 is not boost dependant. It's open-loop/closed-loop depenant whether you are on boost or not.

Now look at the HUGE size of the MAF adapter. Look how WAY up and AWAY from the actual 3" inlet pipe it sits. It probably lowers the MAF signal enough to keep the car from going pig-rich even with the big injectors. The only thing I'm worried about is that the tc ECU uses the MAF to regulate timing. So if MAF is low then timing will be high. This may lead into knocking if you push the engine too hard.

^^^ I know I Know. You have some very good points with the maf sensor issues. I guess we will see. After reading this install post I am glad I leaned away from the Treadstone kit. I am doing a custom kit and I think I will have less down time than trying to modify this kit and install it.

How did you remedy the turbo touching the fan shroud situation? Get aftermarket fans? We have an aftermarket fan on ours.

The issue is due to the length of the runners on the manifold. You need to look into an aftermarket fan selection or move the mounting holes back on the radiator support brackets.

So, you need to change the fans just to get this kit to work.......

So, what would one need to buy just to get it to work. Smaller Fans??? Where would you get them at........

From what I can see smaller or Flex lite slim line for the Honda's would work. Or you can fabricate some brackets to move the radiator

So, just replace the black ran holder and fans that are on the tC, and replace with something like this.......

I am wishing I never got this manifold.......

I would look into selling that manifold and getting either Dezods or Turbonetics. You can solve the issue with that small turbo but once you max out the flow on that small t3 you will run right back into issues with clearance associated with a larger turbo.

I had to make new holes in the fan shroud brackets and cut off these clips on it. Pulled the fan back 1/4" or so. Still very close and it will still hit when the engine jerks.

I will figure out something else.

I dont have my wideband in yet. Im going to weld on the bung tomorrow night if it comes in tonight.

It does run very rich at idle. When you come to a stop after cruising the car bogs for a sec then corrects itself.

Im going to get FM soon. I want to see what i can go without it first. Not talking crazy boost. 7psi max

I will kepp this updated with any new info I have
thanks!!

be careful until you can monitor A/F. You don't want to blow the engine because of this.

Man... I wouldn't go F/I without any fuel management... Your car though! I'm wondering what kinda numbers you're putting down. Get Fuel management and tune it!

im not boosting at all yet. 3 reasons.
1 no wideband, 2 still have 1/2 tnak of 81 and 3 turbo isnt broken in yet.
Im going to start at 5psi with 93 and see what afrs it has at redline. If it is safe then i'll try 7psi. same thing.
Im going to leave it at that then dyno it if 7psi is safe.

I dont need fuel man if it is running rich at redline with low boost.
I will get something though but not right now.
I'll probably get it when I drop in the 255 walbro and make a return line. Then Im going to need it for sure.
