i put on the 9.5psi pulley and a header on. now my car wont boost over 5 and the throttle goes from 100% to 44% i have an safc on the car to know this but problem was befor the safc. i tryed changing the tuning and it was helping a little but no matter what it still does it. i went back to the dealer to see if the trd map was still on there and the calabrathin code for it is still there. i have seen other tc hit 9 psi in 3rd and up. i dont understand y i cant. but i can get 9 psi in 1st and 2nd. what could be the problem? also did a boost leak test and it holds 10 psi.

I dont know a whole lot about the trd s/c but........ either your pulley is loose or the belt isnt making good contact under higher loads (3rd/4th gear). Just an idea.... i think when you tune it, your just compensating for whatever the problem is. If there are no boost leaks and the only thing you changed was the pulley..... i would say it was the pulley.

 

put the stock pulley back on does the same thing.

 

I hit 11 from time to time in every gear. check your BPV, might be leaking. if it isnt upgraded theres no way you should get over 8 anyway. I would have guessed a slipping belt, too.

 

i have a forge. before i put the supercharger i hydrolocked my motor. and the maf is the stock one they didnt replace it could it of goten wet and isint reading right. and also could the 02 sensor get a bad reading from the anti fouler fix that it is keeping it from boosting
