i wouldnt go too big since you get into some severe lag unless you are running some seriously high psi levels.

The HUGE issue is fitment. Cramming a gt40 would only work with a radiator with half a core. My gt30 barely fit and ended up busting up my radiator from all the engine movement (no upgraded motor mounts made that thing JUMP).

I think for your application a gt35 would be great for mid 500 but the gt30 would get u up to 500 with some really nice response.

to double quotejust copy someones message and put
at the end of the copied message and
at the beginning

GT40 is rather large for a street application. If you want a drag car, and have a standalone engine management with 2 step launch control for the purpose of building the boost while sitting at the line, then Go Big like the GT40.

But if you want something that's going to have good response (spool), on the street as you whip around, and can also reach your 500whp goal, then the GT3076 will take you there.

travis. i'm shocked. how long have you been reppin the smaller turbos now? why the sudden change of hart? 3076 is right along the lines of what i run. has p-tunning finally talked some sense in to you?

in all seriousness, im glad that you have decided to step up to a larger turbo. 16-20g's are nice to have for driving around because of almost instant spool. but if you are looking to run in time attack, you will need something better suited. good on ya.
