How would you know you were pushing 7 PSI of boost without a boost gauge? According to your post, you installed it afterwards and it reads 4.5-5 PSI.

i have a similar question dunno if its about boost psi or not, i have a stage zero, about to install gauges, i wuz late for work and didn't wanna stop for gas, got really really close to running out. i filled up, but now my car is limping along, reset the ecu, its trying to learn but i dont think its gonna be as quick. i know there is a safe mode, but i thought it only worked on autos cause i can get my car up to speed just no were as near as quick as i wuz. It feels like im not even boosted. Again sorry for the thread jack.
thanks for any help...

Ooops... Running low on fuel is not good even on a stock car, let alone a boosted one running no manage.

Can you provide a little more detail on what you mean buy "near as quick as I wuz"? You might have experienced an ECU change, but you can't tell as you didn't have a Wideband in it.

i figured thats wut it wuz an "ecu change" I figured maybe our cars go into a saving fuel mode wen its low, plus the ecu is fighting itself cuz it knew it needed more fuel to keep the turbo happy. It would kreep up to speed wouldn't barley get above it. When i got into my car after work it wouldn't run for anything. I would get up too like 3000 or 3500 and it wouldn't let me give any more gas even if i put it too the floor it would cut fuel then i would shift into second and it wouldn't go above 2000rpm. It got real jerky when i tried let it coast wen i wuz in first, like i didn't know how to shift, lol, im sure i looked hilarious. Then after a lil bit of me running around a big parkinglot it started to get better. i wuz able to drive it fine. still no power though like it got stuck in "fuel safe mode" if there is such a thing. Slow as turtle. Very difficult to put up with.

There is a "Safe mode". You disconnected the battery and reset the ECU right?

Lukky are you getting a CEL? Check for loose MAF harness and/or vaccum lines. Check all hose-couplers and any screws for any loose stuff. Check air-filter as well.

Hope you get everything sorted out.

Anytime you wanna do a total ECU reset make sure its at least 30 minutes.

Just making sure you used 91 octane or better? Could you have maybe put in a lower octane?

It is acting just like as if the MAF sensor has failed. If you can not rev past 3Kish RPM then that is most likely your problem. I experienced this by accidentally forgetting to reconnect the MAF sensor once.

ok similar situation i think.

I installed the greddy turbo 2 weeks ago on my 06 AT tC. It ran fine the first week - everything seemed to be going smoothly. Then i wsa going about 65mph on the turnpike and decided to accelerate to sitch lanes. When i did this the car seemed like it jus didnt want to go - it kind of held back. I knew that wasnt normal. i checked all my piping and vacumme hoses.. nothing. I was driving home a few days lter and same thing going 65ish and wanted to pass some one.... and the car hold back.. like it doesnt want to go - i hear like a "ffooo" sound like boost wants to kick in but doesnt or can't. i dont know. checked everythin again... and all seemed fine. i called my tuner told him and i'm taking it tommorow to have him look at it. Any idea what it could be beside a tuning problem. if im just at a light and hit it its fine. the times its done it has been when im already going fast. like over 4kis rpi it seems to do this.

i appreciate any info u could provide.
ohh yea im only at 6psi right now, got the greddy emanage w/ injectors and greddy exhaust.
got boost gauge - reads normal
Any suggestions
