Turbo Drivability question
I am currently prepairing my self to get a stage 0, or stage 1 zpi turbo. My question is...
if I get the stage 1, is it possible to have two differant settings for it? in other words, my race setting would be to to force 8.5psi and a normal setting to put only 6psi. And if so how easily you can adjust between these two. I wonder because I drive 110 miles a day, and I would really like to keep my motor for a little while longer. so that would be nice. I know that you can take and get a dynoed, and tune it while your there, but is that tuning something that can't be switched back and forth?
If not i guess i will be sticking with the stage 0........ cheaper any how.

cant you just save money and do a dual stage boost controller like this one-

^I guess you could but I would want to have precise fuel maps for each boost setting, so that I wouldn't run like crap on the low boost, or lean out bad on the high and blow stuff up...
Kenny will put a base tune on the management fo r you. Secondly, if you are thinking of having an 8.5 PSi setting, then you don't need to be wondering between the Stage 0 and Stage 1. You need to go ahead and get the Stage 1.
Secondly, You will want to turn up the boost....You say you won't, but trust me, you will want to. I am 95% sure you will want more power. So, just save youreself the headache, unless you are on a budget.
The 110miles can be done on 6 or 14 PSI. Doesn't matter. It's not like you are Boosting every 5 secs or something. You drive normal and you stay in Vac. Our car is on 10.5 PSI daily. And driven daily to and fro from work, while racing on the weekends.

You dont need the emanage ultimate, you dont need 2 maps, you dont need a dual boost controler.
Have kenny setup your car like mine, and you will have no regrets.
I run 7 PSI daily, and 14 PSI on the weekends, or at the track. I have an AEM TRU boost gauge. On the gauge itself, you just hold down the button for two seconds and go from # of PSI to # of PSI. Whatever you want.
Both were tuned with the BLUE E-manage, both are a flat 11.5 accross the AFR.
ZPI FTMFW!

awsome thanks. I live in the DC area and I have been trying to find time to go to P-Tuning so I can find out how much instalation will be. I have no idea how much I need to paysome one to tune it, and I guess install it, along with some gauges as well. Where is kenny at, and how much would he take to do it?
