Default turbo epic fail

so i finally have my manual tc me an my boy bout to pop in that turbo everything was great up until we notice the T adapter to the oil feed line came broken all the threads were screwed up so we put everything back to stock due to lost of motivation

we got a little inspired head out To SK sports(great tuning Store by the way) got another T adapter for the oil line this time further down the line we notice the MAF wasnt fitting and the injectors didnt have a harness awesome the whole project got scrapped

totally epic fail a not so long project took 10 - 12 hours

Really, you scrapped the whole thing just because of a couple of pieces?

The parts to make that T for the oil feed are typically just all 1/8" npt than a JIC/flare fitting which you can buy at Ace Hardware or a plumbing store. As for the injectors, if they dont plug into the stock clips, you may need to splice and solder in new clips if they came with them. As for the maf sensor, it is possible that your flange is for the wrong year (07-10 is diff from 05-06) - if you bought the kit new, you should be able to return that part and get the correct pipe/flange

dont get discouraged. its does take a lot of trial and error. ive gotten my install time down to 3 hrs. it def saves time when u have a lift available and air tools. but dont throw the project out the window just cuz a few things didnt go smoothly. anyone on here will tell you that nothing usually goes smooth, and if it does something else will go wrong down the rd. if theres questions that you have dont be afraid to ask someone or post a thread. u may get some sarcastic remarks, but someone will def try and help the best they can. (one of the real reasons forums were started imho)

you're going to have to get clips with the injectors no matter what ones you get. you can just get the clips for the current ones you have.. and save some money.

i say this in the nicest way possible. slow down. and try to get someone local to you that's done this before to come by and lend a hand, because it really does make a difference.

dam that night was definetly deppresing. the plan was install the kit overnight then drive to paul at dezod to get tuned next day. at like 3 in the morning we were so deppresed bout having to put everything back to stock that we just sat in front of the car drinkin beer then my girl came out and brought us into the house. next time it will go better we know the parts we need. ive installed a few kits already and i know ____ never goes as planned but dam this time was just plain out deppresing. we installed the kit two times in a like 12 hours
