Default Turbo First? OR Rebuild Engine First? YOU DECIDE!

So I am at a stop right now. I am having LSD, flywheel, and clutch put in soon. Lite Crank pulley is coming soon after that. But now I am confused on what I should do first.

Should I put in a ZPI Stage 1 Turbo FIRST?
OR
Should I rebuild my engine first?

Please help me out because THIS is going to determine whether I am boosted by the end of May, or boosted by the end of the year!!! Thanks for your input!!!

what do you mean rebuild engine?

if you mean to build your engine, then i would do that after you get your turbo and see what your plans are from there. you may as well be very satisfied with just the power you get from your turbo, i doubt it , but then you can add the block.

since you know you want to build your motor, why don't you do that first. that way, you can work out the bugs from the build before you put on the kit. building the motor after the kit is on might just be extra work.

rebuilding is a smart idea but having a turbo now would be more fun

Yeh I'm thinking of getting the turbo first. I wanna see how it goes from there. If it seems like 300whp isn't enough, or if I start losing to a lot of cars that I WANT to beat badly, then I'll get the stage 1 short block and upgrade my turbo and turn it up to 450whp. I'm thinking I'm just gonna stop at stage 1 short block because my clutch isn't gonna be able to handle 500whp constantly (I was planning on getting the stage 2 head)

I say you do both at once because thats what i plan on doing along with the clutch and fly wheel.

just my 2 cents.
