Well since nobody has had a turbo for 6 years, or even a tc for 6 years nobody can say how long it would last.

first, please make sure to turn off your caps key so we don't strain our eyes. Second, most of the turbos made for the tC are quality products...ZPI, Turbonetics, Dezod, Greddy and have been tested for many many miles and through all sorts of conditions. Turbos are the best bang for the buck...because 5k in just engine mods will not produce the whp that the turbos will produce out of the box

Please read the site rules which Prohibit typing in all caps and please read up on the F/I sections of the forums in relation to longevity/performance/etc...

Short answer... Turbos add more fatigue, problems are more possible, but it isn't unheard of for a properly tuned turbo car to last just as long as another with all the proper maintenence.

You can't change your transmission at this time, and a Turbo, in a good install and good tune, won't kill your engine.

Once again, please read up with all our experiences, as it will prevent you from asking questions that have been discussed many times.

I don't know if this help anyone make up their mind or not. I spent some time with Chris Rado this weekend. While in his truck I got to see video of a STOCK MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION tC tear up Corvettes and 350Z at Willow Springs. Chris said that at this point we want to see what it will take to break this car. He was pound this car on the rev limitter in every turn WOW!!!

Depends on how much power you want to run.... if you are under ~270, your stock clutch and flywheel will be sufficient (for a While)... Running an upgraded clutch before then just gives you overkill, and isn't cheap to install....
