GUESS WHO'S BOOSTING MOTHER HEIFERS!!!!!!!
I will tell ALL in about 25 minutes... let me go turn my car off (letting the engine cool down.. no turbo timer) and take a shower. Simply put, I'm one happy camper right now fellas.

sweet jax im glad to hear. also i have a turbo timer sitting in my car not hooked up and i talked to todd and he said that a turbo timer is a myth for dd cars will small turbos and low psi.. because he said the oil is going to cool only so much letting it idle.. he said when you drive it hard tis good to let it idle but normal driving he said no need!
I trust todd!!!!!

YES! I KNEW IT! I bet they didn't even have to change the plugs!
Man, I read that and sereiously jumped up out of my seat and ALMOST screamed out for joy!
todd told me the same about the timer, and even when I do run hard, by the time i roll around to a stop, it's been about a minute so I think it's cool enough. If I DO blow my turbo, that's just an excuse to upgrade, right?

Ok guys, here it is!
We flipped the MAF sensor and cleaned the spark plugs.
Tried to start the car.
Nothing.
So, I spent about an hour in the actual service garage with the master tech discussing the issue. We went over different scenarios, including improper wiring of the 550cc injectors and all the way up to a fried ECU. I was not feeling good. Then I asked a simple question: did you ever check the ignition fuse? He paused for a moment and said, "No. Come to think of it, I never did; that's a good possibility." We popped the hood and opened up the fuse box, found the ignition fuse (15A), pulled it up... and guess what? Yeah, you guessed it. BLOWN IGNITION FUSE.
He pulled another 15A fuse out of one of his drawers, put it in the slot. We go to start the car and turn the key to the ON position. BOOM. Big bang. Sounds like something just blew. We didn't find anything, so it could've just been some strange coincidence. He puts the key to the ON position again and everything's fine. He says "Ready?" I agree and he starts it. It just turns a few times, but he keeps it turning for a few more seconds than I would have. All of a sudden it sputters to life. The idle was kinda crazy for the first few seconds being that the ECU was re-learning the EManage and regular idle data. After a couple minutes, it was stable. I drove it down the road a couple miles boost-free and brought it back. I was so happy
The best part? The master tech and my service rep ripped up my service sheet, so I had no bill to pay. They actually spent time looking at the stuff, but didn't charge me a PENNY. I'm going back there tomorrow to give the tech a tip. He did, after all, try some things and spent a lot of time talking to me about the car. Arlington Toyota = awesome dealership. That's why I brought it there in the first place. Sure, a $.02 fuse ended up being the problem. That's not the point, though. They actually TRIED to figure it out. The performance shop let me do all the work. I'm going back there tomorrow to pick up my stock parts and let them know what I thought of their support (or lack thereof).
What can I say about boost? I haven't really driven it hard yet. I'll be doing that later on tonight
I have gotten into boost a little... some small things:
1. At first I didn't even realize my tires were spinning because all that would happen is the boost would go up and I would hear this loud sound... turns out the tires were straight SPINNING. I LOVE how the tires spin so much and yet I didn't even realize it for a little bit because it was so much different than spinning the tires on the stock HP!
2. I have a couple small rattles I'm going to be fixing here eventually that I think are coming from the downpipe/s-pipe somewhere. Also, do you guys have little whistling noises? Doesn't just sound like the turbo whistle (which is BADASS)... sounds almost like a little bird with varying pitch levels.. a small leak maybe? Or is it normal?
3. My boost is a little crazy... according to my AEM boost gauge, I've gotten to 10psi at one point. I didn't hold it at WOT there, so I don't know if it would've stayed there or not... it was just a quick blip. Nonetheless, my WG spring is .5BAR, so 10psi is HIGH.
4. I don't think my Wideband is hooked up. The A/F stayed at 14.8 the WHOLE time. Even on Matt's map under WOT, 14.8. 14.8 all the time. NO variation, so I'm guessing the gauge just isn't hooked up or something... I can't imagine the ratio would NEVER change. Another example of the shop's great attention to detail.
Overall, I don't have much impression yet. It was rush hour on my way home, so I didn't really get to get on it that much. So far, it doesn't FEEL much faster (but I won't know until tonight when I actually drive it a little). The speedo and tach sure change a lot faster now though haha!
As far as support through this whole thing goes, I'd really want to thank a lot of people.
Matt (olahalo)- bro, thanks a lot. your map needs a little work at idle, still a little rough!! haha i appreciate it, though! much better than no map at all!
Brandon (java09)- you've been posting on jacksonville style a TON man and offering me lots of suggestions. i really appreciate it!
Dave (davedavetc)- what can i say? you've helped a lot over the past few days as well. You, Brandon, and Phil were awesome with the MAF help.
Phil (mr_meaty)- you're the original TT'er! haha! i still remember when me, you, and matt had all just ordered our kits! you've sure taught me a lot; directly, and through vegas style. thanks bro!
I'd also like to personally thank Todd. He called me a few times to check on my status and also offered to fly in re-install my kit if all else failed. You're the man, Todd! Helluva turbo kit! I can't leave out Dezod. The only parts I purchased from Dezod for my install were my PnP harness and my spark plugs, and yet Paul has been tirelessly responding to all of my PM's and begs for help. Dezod is truly a great, customer-oriented company. I thank you for that, Paul. Everyone else who has posted on this thread or sent me PMs, I haven't forgotten you! Thanks to all of you who wished me well and offered up other suggestions.
I'll answer any questions anyone has. A video of some driving will be coming later tonight when I get on the highway for some fun or early tomorrow morning
I'm so glad I have my car back.
Thanks again everyone!

P.S.- Todd I'm sending you a PM now. If you see this, please check your messages and respond. I need the new MAF piping as well as the foil heat shield for the hood. Thanks man.
