oooo yes! it feels like ____! i knew i knew the answer to this one!

 

i haven't done any launches yet; competition recommended a 500 mile break-in (only on the stage 3, not on all of their models) so i'm taking it seriously.. i still boost a little when i'm in gear and whatnot, but no launches yet. plus i don't think my tune would like that very much haha ill let you know when i do it, but the thing is rated grippy to about 375ish whp, so it should be okay

 

And when are we going to see these pics of your car?

 

yeah, mine feels like I'm spinning tires...but that's not what it sounds like...and it's not what it smells like either!

 

As soon as I clean up the engine bay a little haha.. within the next few days I'm sure

btw, my manifold is ugly now lol.. oh well, i guess i can learn to like the rugged look

 

why is your mani ugly? I thought you got yours coated?
dude, I thought the raw form looks sweet as hell.....untill i saw a black coated one!

 

haha mine has no coating. it's a nice bronzish color.. it's not TOO bad, but the black powdercoated looks amazing and would be perfect for the direction i'm going with my engine bay.

 

I got mine polished. I'm hoping it looks good.

well i might end up getting my header Jet Hot coated in the future; what temperature range does Todd have his coatings at? I want the Jet Hot flat black color, which comes in either 1300 degrees F or 2000 degrees F editions... how hot do our manifolds run?

 

I dont' know exactly how hot they run, but I boiled water on mine the other day just pulling into the garage.
I beleive his black is rated at 2000.

 

Get the extreme sterling and the matte black over it. The extreme sterling is recommended for super and turbo charged applications...

 

extreme sterling is rated to 1700F i believe.. so it's in between the two others, and i bet would cost the same as the 2000 in black once you coated it as well

I think the black is rated higher then the polished.

 

i would agree with that based off of my Jet Hot research.. their sterling isn't rated as highly as their black 2000, unless the coating todd got is like the jet hot black 1300, in which case theyre almost the same

 

i cant wait to get my new mani!
