Turbo Toyotas: Rican Style. Update!!! now with Dyno pg 1
spectacular bro!!! 300hp and 300tq on only 8-9psi...freaking sweet bro. I only got 270hp 319tq on 8-9psi on that dyno. then again your on an E housing, bit more effeciant than the crappy B housing im on. I wonder though why my tq numbers were higher. not sure if its turbo, exhaust, tune, fuel, or improper loading. In any case looks like you hit the bullseye with your tune bro. Congrats!!!

I know right, def. love that flat tq curve from 3.7 to 5.2k rpms. Also how a slight extra timing can kick up a couple extra horses. Was not expecting those numbers for sure (305.7hp/307tq), but I'll take them.
Now really looking into that new detchwerks fuel pump, even with the stock fuel pressure it will flow over 50gal/hr over my current walboro. I'm tring to convince myself to keep it simple, but I might still need the return fuel system with the 700cc. Heck I already have the pump and the fuel rail, it might end up costing about the same.

We'll see if the hp/tq numbers spread out once I install the 3in exhaust. Right now it's still on the megan mid pipe, tanabe g axle and the tt down/spipe with stupid 2 1/4in flange at the end if it
you may see a slight drop in tq but a bit of a kick in the hp with a full 3" exhaust. cant wait to see more!!!
btw it seems all your really going to need for a return system is fuel lines, fittings, and FPR. in all your looking at maybe 200-300 in parts. Id go ahead and go for a return system. thats just me though.

Nice numbers! I noticed you say 2.5" full exhaust on page one, but the Megan mid pipe is only 2.25" just clearing things up. I'm curious to see how your numbers will change due to the 3" exhaust upgrade since I'm closing in on doing the same.

true about the mid, it is OD :-/
yo chris and kevin, things are going to get even slower now. Had soo many plans for the summer, but I'm getting one of these babies.

It has been a long battle with the wifey and somehow I was able to convince her out of the blue. Well more like my neighbor has bikes and I'm always giving her sad puppy eyes

. Now if we were to talk I45, I don't think I would've though about buying one to commute.
This will be my first one so, middle of the pack it is. Too small and I might end up upgrading within six months. Besides, after seeing the pics of it, I fell in love.
Just got to go for a test drive. Love naked bikes!
