Default Turbo use diverter valve

Can I use a diverter valve such as the Bosch 110 (710N) with my turbo setup instead of a BOV

you sure can... you'll need to weld a BIG nipple on the carge pipe with some really good tbolt clamps to hold it all together.

I ordered a coupler with a 1" nipple on it already so I should be able to fit it right in

Just a quick ? Why would you want to run a BPV over a BOV on a turbo?

I'm thinkin he's trying to keep the setup on the dl... It'll reel in many unsuspecting victims. The diverter valve is super quiet when recirc'd

But this valve i got for 50 shipped brand new and is a namebrand unit.. If the diaphram fails i will upgrade to the forge unit for $100.. Better than $200+ for a hks unit that everyone and their mother has. Plus the install is easier.. Simple is always better

lol not always. I could be wrong, but I dont believe that BPV vent as much and as quick as a BOV, And dont boost on a budget. Dont go with HKS, there are other BOV's out there. IDK maybe its just me, but all the turbo kits that ive seen have a BOV, not a BPV. But Gl, Im gonna keep watch to see what happens.

They are one in the same but the term bypass valves are typically reserved for recirculated setups where the term blow off valve is for atmospheric dumping... Both affectively do the same thing

Ic ic, Ive just seen that BPV tend to be smaller than a BOV, but I could be very wrong.

You'll be fine. If you wouldnt be then other cars wouldnt have a BPV (VW's, MS3, etc) Do it!

In essence a BPV works better than a BOV. why waste the extra air? bpv makes tuning easier.

Getting a plastic OEM type BPV wouldnt be cheaping out in a bad way. Getting a XSPower turbo would be cheaping out in a very bad way. I meant no disrespect tC4Eva. I hear what youre saying but in this case its ok to go with the cheaper unit as long as its not made by XS Powa and associates.

i am currently running a xspower t-70 on one of the shops cars it been on it for over a year and with compressor surge, cuz no bov just for the sound, and we have no shaft play on that ____ and seal are great,

on other note. BPV is great use if u want stealth its easier to tune to as well

Call me mean or whatever, but I think this is the dumbest idea in the world.
