Wow, I am really shocked to have to read some of this on this forum.

I told everyone here at Turbonetics how much I enjoyed spending the day with the Scion community and how great the crowd was (much better than the 350Z gang) but it seems that a few people are trying to change my opinion. Does everyone realize how much effort was put into this event? Then to go and criticize us for "giving" away $10,000 of free stuff to you. Feeding you, spending thousands and thousands of dollars just to hold the event. And it is not just the money either people. My own personal time and time of those who work here was sacrificed to have this event for you.

I am very sad to read these posts from people hating on us because we gave everyone there the chance to go home happy. Unbelievable. To put an end to this nonsense. The drawing was not rigged. It was pure luck/chance that that ticket was pulled. It could have been anyone here.

Thank you to everyone that came out and enjoyed the day. I hope that most of you went home happy and enjoyed spending the day with us as much as we did with you.

 

No offence, but you do sound rather bitter.

One of the drawings, like they said, was for the AUTO KIT w/ R&D <--- KEYWORD (Totally different drawing)

The second one, like said before you went, was for ANY NATURALLY ASSPIRATED <--- KEYWORD to win.

On another note, the food was GREAT!! the cars were AWESOME!! the girls where HOTT!! and the shop was INSANE!!

My dad and I both showed up, and my dad was really shocked in how nice the shop was, he had no idea, nor did I, how big of a deal turbonetics really is.

You guys really had your ____ together and I'm very dissapointed I didn't win (I am a manual transmission user) but to say it was rigged or unfair in any shape or form is stupid and immature, you should be ashamed.

I know that when I can afford a turbo, I wont be getting anything BUT a Turbonetics kit. Great people with great parts.

C'mon guys. The meet was great. And it was FREE.

No one left with anything less than what they came with (Except maybe gas).
I didn't win anything (bummer but eh) but I left with a full stomach, met some cool people, and got some good information about what goes into developing a turbo kit.

Great event turbonetics. Grats to all the winners.

And I've never seen so many tCs at once heh. All were very nice vehicles.

 

my hats are off to you Turbonetics. great event had no clue on how hard you guys worked on the kit for the tc, but now that I know I will definataley purchase a kit from you guys this year. me and my girl had a great time so thanx again.

Although i do wish the a/t and m/t would have been seperated, it was def. fair and congrats to the winners.

 

Tyler, Rob, Reggie, James, EVERYONE! I had a blast. Great times with the turbonetics crew, turbokits.com, And Duane the crazy Australian. Took very good care of me, and let me beat the ____ out of the SER. This was a great time and hopefully more to come. Ill be back there in the summer, so ill see you guys again. If your not happy with the results of the drawing sorry. turbonetics drew the winners as they said they would and it WAS at random. If i hear anymore complaning about it this will be locked and warnings will be issued out. turbonetics didnt even have to give these kits out, they are worth more then $4000 so be greatful they did it for free! and congrats to the winners and lets start hearing things to turbonetics(i wasn there just tired of hearing all the b.s.)

I could have done without the long long drive home... Other then that the event was great. Thank you for holding the event and I WILL be buying a TC kit from turbonetics in 2007.

It was great to see the shop and I loved the dyno the best..

UMMM....That was a suggestion..Guess you must have missed the part where I said I WAS NOT EVEN THERE, so how can I be bitter... I live in TN bro, I could care less who won.

Read my post next time. It was just an example that might have prevented some "ill will" from some of the people that attended, coming from an UN-PARTICIPATED, UN-BIASED, person.

 

I just walked through the building and told all of the employess here personally how thankful I was for their help and hard work. They all said they were happy to to do it because they saw how great the event was and how excited everyone that attended was. That is what makes it worth it to do things like this.

I have soooo many pics to post it is not funny. I will do my best to get them up ASAP.

Congratulations to all of the winners, whether it was a hat, clutch, exhaust or the turbo kit. Thank you for being here!

I actually quoted the wrong person. It was intended for the other whiner.

 

While it was a random drawing.
And the tickets were color coded, blue for items, Red for auto tC turbo, and white for Manual turbo.

The glitch was that the auto tCs got a white and a Red ticket.

So people who weren't there know how the drawing was raffled.

The tickets were in a clear box, and they had a different person draw each time. So it was totally random and nothing shady with it.

They gave away great prizes.
Had a GT4 contest for apparel. Served great food and drinks.
Had a very impressive and informative tour of the facility. The Weather was nice (a lil cold when the wind picked up)
Tons and tons of fantastic tCs and a car show/contest.
ACT were selling clutches @ 46% off I believe
Dsport magazine were selling subscriptions and donated prizes
Turbo Mag is going to do an article for the lucky winner of the turbo kit.
The girls were friendly. and the staff in general for that matter.
I heard they showed scott a great time (the vip winner from jersey)

Great company, great product.
