Default turbonetics tc

okay guys
i just gave my car in
waiting for my turbonetics kit to be installed
its an auto
does anyone have their tc's hooked up with turbonetics kit?
auto or stick..dont matter
i just wanna see any peeps who have em

hmm well my friend has it, he said that its junk, makes to many problems, he just rebuild it because of "one" the problems, now he change it to a better setup with a bigger turbo which i dont know which kind. should go with dezod. even though some of its options has turbonectics parts, still good setups. i've seen them and everyone here and people i know are satified with it.

The water cooled turbos are holding up really well. If its not the water cooled bearing be ready to send it back.

hmm..well its the new turbos..the cooled line ones? i mean its the t3/t4 turbo...i mean, i never seen anyone complain..and we'll see how everythihng goes...i'll update after i get it done...like by friday

do a water cooled setup and you should be fine... otherwise, buy some aspirin and prepare for a lot of headaches. Turbonetics has built a rep as having some horrible turbos...

Yeah the turbo withoutthe water cooled option will break at some point. I went through 3 turbos before I changed my setup. My brother is still running turbonetics but with the water cooled one and it seems to standup alot better. No problem so far and he's been running it for awhile now.

Every turbo has oil lines. Oil lubes the bearing and provides some cooler. Water will keep the bearing section much cooler. I've never seen a ball bearing turbo without and water cooler center section besides turbonetics turbos. Why they didnt offer the water cooled option from the beginnin I dont know.

damn...i just spoke with the shop
they told me that the kit they were tryna install is from an early 07 model
so i cant get it done...the unichip had to be hardwired and the maf didnt fit
im kinda ____ed but kinda not
everything happens for a reason right?
everyone hates on turbonetics so im assuming their not the greatest
can anyone atleast recommend me to a good turbo kit?

The overall kit is great. Fit was great and looks good. Only problem we ever had was the turbos but turbonetics was always quick it fix it for free.

The fit of the turbonetics kit is great if you get the right kit for your car. Me and my dad installed it with no problems in about 10 hours. The only problem has been the turbo but the customer survice at turbonetics is great.

okay thanks guys! so recommendations are basically turbonetics for good fit
but dezod for no problems?
i guess i need more research for a turbo and it seems turbonetics doesn't make a kit for the 07 with the small maf..i wanna boost so bad haha..idkk =/

you probably got a turbo kit for an 06. That's probably why the MAF didn't fit. Check out Dezod, they have the stuff you will need.

ive never encounter any problems with my turbonetics turbo, so far. been driving it for a year. but if it starts having some problems, will turbonetics replace it even if my 1 year warranty is over?? i mean everybody that has the kit seems to have had problems with the turbo right??
