Yes, you can always run more boost but you will see diminishing returns around 300-325whp. I upgraded to a .63 ar housing and journal bearing and I'll tell you it spools just as fast and makes more powerband than the .48 ar turbonetics turbo. Now, I may get a unichip tune since I have an appropriately sized turbo.

Funny - a member on here with built internals and the T'netics kit, and a Motec EMS made 443whp at 20-something psi.. this was with the supplied turbo from T'netics.

I'm looking for 300whp with a quick response - I think this turbo will fit the bill just fine.

Maybe eventually I'll grab a GT3076 but that's way down the line.

I'd check that dyno.

Good numbers, but the tuning needs to be looked at.

Yeah I've been back and forth with Tnetics about it. I've tried a couple of Unichip units they've sent me. All the same.

I think it may be my primary O2 sensor...

Do you have a code for it? With the 3" exhaust, you did pickup 1 PSI of boost, which also is probably reeking havoc on the tune because it's set for 8 PSI.

That tune should be "ok" as long as you don't raise the boost at all. The stock map pulls plenty of timing. I think you have an EGT guage so as long as it's not buring a piston, you should be fine. Definately get a tune down the road though.

I totally agree. But did you see the "before" dyno? It was pretty lean then too and that was at the kit's 8.5psi.

T'netics said I should be even richer cuz I'm in Miami (hotter weather - before dyno was in 90+deg) at sea-level, and I'm using 93 oct when they tuned the car on 91 oct.

Yes that is weird. Do you have an OBD2 scanner that you can monitor voltage of the primary O2?

B_Real, I was scanning back through your pics, and I came upon this pic of the Radiator cap and safety chain.

Speaking from experience here, that chain being screwed into that bolt could be causing electrical interruption with your car. I had mine the same exact way, and when I mashed the gas hard, my ignition fuse would blow. I went through 2 - 3 fuses before realizing that my slim line fan being connected to the ignition was getting a current interruption because it was attached to the Mishimoto, which was attached via that chain to a bolt in the chassis (which is grounding out the current). I'm not saying that this is the cause of your 02 sensor voltage or anything, but it does not hurt to try and remove the chain to see if it eliminates your problem. I also notice that my A/F ratio changed when I removed that chain from the bolt, so monitor your A/F for any signs of change.

Paul,

I do have an OBDII Scanner - Innovate's OT-1 tool. But the Unichip alters the signals after the ECU, would this tool be useless in monitoring the O2 output?

Rhythm,

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. I haven't blown any fuses yet. But I'll go remove it now and see if the AFRs are still the same. Btw, I don't think anything is grounded to that bolt..
