And to total mine so far (I've searched high and low on eBay, the classifieds, etc for these prices):

$3000 - Dezod S1 (w/ boost/wideband/oil pressure gauges)
$375 - Competition Clutch Stg. II
$450 - Tune by Ptuning (quoted, hoping to keep it around that)

I'm not done acquiring parts, but that stuff alone will net me what, 250-260whp fairly reliably? Add the exhaust and possibly another tranny upgrade or 2 (LSD possibly? Flywheel?) and I'm still coming in under $6k (I can install everything but the LSD confidently myself).
why did you chose a stage 2?

Where did I state that I'd use lower quality parts to bring my car to a respectable level? No where did I state that lol.
i didnt say you, made a general statement

Stage II not enough? From what I've read, stock clutches are 'holding' with the 8psi as long as your not launching, popping it, etc. I had a Stage III CC on my last car (I realize it's a totally different application) but it was a bit of an overkill.

Haha guess I got defensive. I need people like you guys to help me out too so please give me your input.

Werd. Hey I'm a car enthusiast too. I bought my first mods for my first car BEFORE I got it haha. I want quality things for my car and I hope from what I've listed that you can see that. The only thing I probably won't get respect on is my wheels cause I have SportMax's as I'd rather have a turbo than Volks at the moment haha.

stage 4 would be better (its less then the Stage 3) the 3 is a disc type and the material makes it more then the others

but Chris at CC told me the stage 4 would be the best

Oh wow. Glad I asked. Is the Stg. 4 very streetable? As I said before, the Stage III I had on my last car was just barely tolerable for daily use.

From experience, Stage 4 Sprung is where you would want to be a DD turbo tC. It is not too bad at all. I have personally driven a few of them, and they are not too bad at all.
