i just ordered the dezod 2.5 turbo s-pipe back exhaust!!! anyone have this exhaust on their stage 1? just wondering if its going to sound #@%!ing bad ___ or just regular bad ___?? haha

I totally want it, but I'm a big fan of the rear cannon look. The dezod just looks too stock for me! I just need a custom 2.5 mid pipe to mate up to my Injen!

 

alright man i'll post one pre and post boost. I saw the ones on dezod and they were ok, too short and too far! but yeah i like the stock look because here in hawaii to many guys want to "sample" and rev abyone out with an exhaust.. i dont want to be all flashy and stuff. even though a rev here and there to put them in their places is a must!

I'm assuming your trying to say that the turbo surpresses the sounds of the engine, right?

That is correct, and I liked how my injen sounded better before boost. But it's gettting better every day, and let me tellyou, when that wastegate opens up...my $hit is LOUD! And that HKS BOV is loud too!

 

So the sound of the exhaust will be more silent with a turbo and when the wastegate opens it goes loud? Or its loud only if you have an open dump tube?

 

both. open dump tube is really loud cause it's basically just blowing your exhaust off into the atmostphear, not exhast.
If you have it recird, it will be louder when open because the exhaust is bypassing the turbo, so the turbo does not have a chance to quiet it.

 

Hmm I im not sure what my kit comes with, im not sure what is the standard of TT. but my choice would be recirc dump since its less louder and plus the smog wont go the cat (lol just remembered i have to get a cat for my exhaust)

 

your kit should have a open dump unless you requested otherwise??? im pretty sure!
