My tune has changed since the turbo and turning up the boost a little. It sucks right now, but my A/F ratio when cruising is in the mid 15's now. It use to be 14.8 - 15.2. Now it doesn't dip below 15.2 at all when I'm in cruise.

Makes me wonder if Todds new design of the manifolds are hurting the performance.....hmmmm Java what manifold are you running? I know that meaty is still on the peakboost manifold so thats another reason why he made more power too.

That just adds to my thoughts that the manifold might be an issue because you and phil are on the peakboost manifold and making more or better power numbers then people on the other style manifolds. which that would really suck for alot of people including myself.

The manifold has NOTHING to do with it.....NOT at all.

The new manifold out performs the olds style manifold across the board.

Its all in the tuning.

Even though Brandon has the old mani, his numbers are low, his tune is not anywhere near what it needs to be.

Ace is another victim of a bad tune, regardless of how hot it was....2 summers ago in the AZ heat over 110 I was getting 330 and 365 out of a smaller turbo(2.5dp and s-pipe) with the same ic on an Emanage.

This is the downside of the turbo business.....no manufacturer has any control after we ship the product....yet if something goes wrong or not up to expectations we are the first to get blamed. Yet we are not the ones hitting the keys on the keyboard when the most important part of a turbo kit is finaly put together.

Again its not the parts...........its the tuning, regardless of the dyno.

Again, go to the best Tuner you have in your state(one of the best in the country)...Tony at T1

yes he is $$$ but its money well spent and it will be right the first time

Regards-

Todd

I can arrange that for you. Its not me, as I am not a "tuner" but I have ones that will take good care of you.

also he is on a 3076r on only 8psi that can't be effient there... well another thing you can do Ace is Download your tune to your laptop and e-mail it to other hydra tuners and get there insight. And todd you being the guy that knows alot about turbos should also know that 8psi isn't going to shine on that turbo. So i would think about all the facts before bashing ones tuning. And not to go against your gudgement on your manifolds but all the numbers so far show that your 1st manifold out performs this manifold at least on Low PSI....

Its not, but it can be allot better than what is represented.

There is enough info presented that allows me to "bash".

yes and no , but as most see it (as you do) on this site...I will agree with that. But its wrong...and that will change with time and as more who get this setup and post.

How many with the 2.1 have posted? And of those how many have the same turbo? not enough to make that kind of comment. But its ok.

Again...Tuning is the most important part of the equation, no matter how good or how bad the quality of the turbo components are.

Todd
