So the TT 3" downpipe and Spipe upgrade didnt fit well with my setup up so I have to do some modifications and while im altering my TT pipes i decided to convert my dp from 4 bolt to vband and now everything is perfect and easier to work with..

here's few pics of my new exhaust setup

custom spipe, made by combination of 3" ptuning exhaust and TT spipe w/ SS flex pipe

Ptuning spipe back with 18" vibrant resonator

I almost did, but plan didnt went through this year due to family situation.. lol hopefully by next year..

and oh the dump tube i didnt get to use it, i had a new dumptube made but decided just not to use your due to tight space.. i think it will fit but its gonna be hard to work on the without taking out few parts.. oh I can send it back to you if want or somebody else want to try it out.. or maybe i can have this fabbed but the only decent shop that will do this charges like 80-100 bucks for custom job lol

oh wow.....90-100 bux sucks bad bro...lol
i dont really want it, i made it cause you kept bugging me about it...lol but it was kinda fun and i learned a few things making it so it was worth it just for the knowledge. i told you id make you a dump tube free of charge, i finally have a way to fab one up on a 2.1 mani...carlos has the 2.1 he got from phresh...ima try and fab one up for him the next time i can get some time in the shop. what sucks is i have to do some after hours crap that i dont get paid for in order for me to get some shop time. Last time i had to weld some brackets up for my boss to get the shop for the weekend. i started to polish my valve cover with it on the car so there's still a few spots that aren't polished but it came out real nice considering, now ima start a project on making my own custom coil pack cover. its not going to be a simple plate that bolts down with those two studs are located but something that fits in the groove of the valve cover. if its a success ill send one out to ya.

interesting project man.. let us know how it goes.. my valve cover polishing was put on hold due to some stuff taking priority and now its starting to get dirty lol, im still at 220 grit so it easily gets dirty.. i might be going to the dyno early next month when i get some money.. im not getting any tax return so the track is gonna be awhile since i have not tires, even my everyday tire is suoer thin so i have to take it easy..

Ace-

couple of things:

1. I have a new short dumptube for you. Its only 6" long but it will be better than nothing. I just made it and the first one is on Joshs car. As soon as I get the car back its coming off so I can jig it. I will send you one as soon as its ready.

2. As I do not want to make an exhaust, and I hear nothing but good things about Ptunings exhaust If possible I would like some feedback on what I can do to make my s-pipe work with their exhaust without modification.

Regards-

Todd

its cool todd, i have a custom dumptube made using the pipe that originally came with my kit.. I made few changes of the dp and spipe that i just ordered so your dump tube might not fit..

If im local i would gladly take my car to you so you make your spipe fit the ptuning exhaust, but this might help
1. Ptuning spipe back fits the stock spipe.. There is a vband to 2 bolt adapter that will make it fit with stock spipe..
2. If you make the rear section of the spipe a 2 bolt flange then it would fit
3. If you want to stay with all vband, you can extend your spipe a bit with a lil downward bend and bolt it directly to the spipe back (not using the vband to 2 bolt adapter)

im ordering copper gasket for my downpipe, i just found like a huge exhaust leak on my downpipe flange and its blowing hot exhaust on my radiator.. that might be the reason when i drive the car for a long time on the city my coolant temp goes to like 190-200F when normally its just around 175 to 186.. still working on the polished valve cover and im ordering my 2 step and flat shifting monday

yeah my coolant temp used to be like that.. and even worst before like 200-230F lol, then i improved my cooling w/ better fans, thermostats and radiator... i prefer it to stay on the 180s and reduce chances of knocks
