Didn't you say your axle was already messed up from the shop that did your clutch install?

 

And right axle? is that the driver side or passenger side. I know my friend has a spare used driver side axle that he would probably be willing to sell you for cheap.

I already changed it.. it got messed up but just thread so I changed to a used one with a busted cv boot then I changed to a new one.. then it broke on the track..

and oh a spare driver side would be nice, how much your friend is selling it?

 

he's got a driver side. shoot me an offer and I'll ask him. He said he would be willing to sell it.

 

go to car-part.com you can pick one up the for cheap.

 

i did that the first time and i got an axle with a leaking boot, with the thread trimmed just enough to lock the nut.. ebay, oreily's or advanced auto isnt a bad idea, just dont trust it to hold up when racing

Track times and trap speed?

 

trap is speed is around 93-95, End time is ridiculously slow lmao 16.2ish.. dont have the time slip right now i left it on the car.. but its was ok, that track day was uncalled for.. was just bored that day so we went without checking my tune and having a worn tire..

 

ive broken 3 axles lol.

 

I think my passenger side axle has become "un" balanced. I'm getting a noise like something is wobbling, but I'm not actually feeling any wobble.

 

yeah when i ran at the track my best time was 15.3 @ 98mph.

i was spinning first and secods gears completely and part of the 3rd. Only hooked later in 3rd.

 

I still would think your trap speed would be higher. How much boost you running?

 

check inboard driver tulip man, they make wobbly sounds when they have too much play

 

i was running 9 psi on that run.
