I have to say I cant stand the way it looks really... but it is a show car, so the graphics and mismatched rims probably fit in better there. Just my opinion though.

Hahahahahahaha OMG that is retarded, a vortech is the 100% LAST supercharger you would want to choose to twin charge anything! They obviously had the skills to fab it up nice and purdy but not the brain power to realise how twincharging works.

I imagine this car was built for pure show reasons. I doubt it runs down the track on friday nights.
I agree its not practical, but it sure as hell is cool.

But it does run. You can look at the engine bay and see that. Look at the turbo manifold, look at the supercharger belt. This thing runs.
I was just making comments on the efficency of the setup. It might not be the most practical to make the most power. But its a show car. Most show cars at Sema arent even driven around. They are for show. Atleast this one is driven.

SEMA is a venue for companies to showcase new products, designs or whatever. Its all an advertising gimmick to get us talking about products....and guess what....this Twin Charged tC succeded in doing what it was meant to do for AIT. We are talking about the company because of the twin setup. Practical or not, they have achieved their goal.

I have my doubts.

Look at any TRD SC on a TC. Look at where the intake box pipes to the SC. Then see where it goes from there (from the SC to the throttle body).

The intake piping in those pics go straight to the TB. So just where is that SC blowing? Certainly not to the TB.... The belt might be spinning the impeller, but where's that compressed air going?

The top pipe going into the side of the supercharger is the intake pipe. Then off the top it loops back around to go to an intercooler. The piping then comes off the right hand side where the battery would be and into the TB. SOmeone on here had an intercooler on there supercharger and it was a similar mess of piping.
So it does make sense for the supercharger, how the turbo is interrelated I am not sure.

Ok, so what exactly is going to the throttle body? Sure looks like your standard everyday CAI.
