Default Unusual issue today

so i decided i wanted to clean up my engine bay with routing new vaccum lines, so i went ahead and ordered polyethylene lines with one push connectors. i installed em yesterday afternoon and got em run all nice and appealing to the eyes. i than decided to make a run for wendys, and everything seemed to be ok. got in my car this morning and noticed that some of the lines had melted. now...heres the odd issue, i replaced and rerouted all the lines that got damaged, and everything seemed to be somewhat normal. i was holding steady vaccum, but my afr's were way outta whack at idle and i was also throwing misfire codes. so i went thru all my vaccum lines again and they were all good. i tried replacing one at time (process of elimination) and was still coming up with nothing. so after about 2hrs of vaccum testing and replacing lines, i got fed up and decided to just disconnect the battery for a few mins. i re connected the battery and fired it up, and everything was all good. i have no idea as to what couldve caused the afr's to be that far off, especially after replacing vaccum lines or having a vaccum leak.

anyone else ever come across an issue like this?

so far ive driven to my inlaws, and home after work and so far so good.

thats what i was thinkin as well but i was thinkin the the ecu wouldve relearned with the good vaccum lines. idk, i hate these stupid lil issues...lol...i guess its par for the course. im just glad that the issue is hopefully fixed. one of the techs at my job stayed around to help me out and he was sayin that my wastegate was bad. im like no way!!! lol
he was saying that the wastegate wasnt holding vaccum from the side port. i was like its not going to bc it opens when vaccum is put to it.

how are you liking those vacuum lines now that you fixed your problem. what was the problem that made them melt also. I saw that dezod was selling a kit for the tc and i debating buying it.

the heat is what made them melt and im guessin the adaptives needed to be reset bc it learned to read with whatever vaccum leak i had goin on. i re-routed them away from heat and i didnt use them for my wastegate, or the line comin off the tb. so far so good and none of them melted.
