Has low end yes but I'm lookin for a 300+ street tune and 500+ track tune. And with the slicks it shouldn't be much of a ****. Also lookin to do the 6spd swap...just dnt kno how the low end is with that

variable turbine geometry on a fwd car is a huge waste of money. even with the best lsd available, the massive low end torque you can make will never be put to the ground. the reason it works so well on turbo 997s is that they are awd. i would have to say pass.

Tack? All the more reason why you will want it on the mid-top end. Don't care if you have slicks or not, exiting the corners with 500hp in the tC brings 480-500twq with it.

you guys understand that people are making variable controllers that operate when and how the vanes move. This in its self leads me to think that one would be able to move your power band however you choose so to speak. You can manipulate how fast the turbo spools, so in my mind thats sorta like being able to swap turbine housings on the fly.
I dont however see this being easy nore a thing that everyone should do.
I just think its a neat idea

I was commenting from a track point of view. Whether it works or not, I was just saying were he would want it to work.

Just a thought at this time the turbos themselves are not that bad in price not are the parts...just to play with and see how well it works, I'm realy considering it.

you must use E85 those turbos are not built with withstand gasoline EGTs

How do you plan on controlling the turbo?

You will also need a custom turbo manifold collector and flange.

As for controling the vgt, something similar to or the fleece controller. Another option is a standard wastegate accuator...

If you are serious contact BMCRACE.
I put a VGT on a honda last year and I had a collector made from them and got the flange from Cummins. Maybe they still have the dimensions.

on another note the turbine housing for the 351 is HUGE. Making it fit in the engine bay will be no easy task without removing a lot of "luxuries"

Why not just put a GTX3076R or GTX3582R on it? tC has a lot of low end as stated spool time on these turbos with twill scroll or EL manifold is perfect.

This!! But those turbos are pricey. Our you can just get a 6262 and just trade the wheel to the 11 blade billet wheels the gtx turbo use.
