vs Modded CRX
dont you think since your boosted you should of pulled away a lot more easy than that? i thought a B16 stock would give u 160 to the wheels. if thats correct than your setup isnt that impressive

His B16 CRX beats up on Stage 2 SRT-4's. It ran 8.8 in the 1/8th mile. You can't just judge a car by it's HP or lack thereof. As mentioned, his CRX is gutted, which turns an already light car (compared to a tC), into a feather...lol.
Kinda hard to call all those mods a "stock" B16....lol. Especially when it has a 75 shot of Nitrous on it...
LOL...at the "your setup isnt that impressive". You obviously are new to ScionLife aren't you.
It's not impressive at all. What kinds of cars have you raced and beat? I don't think I need to even go into the long list of cars I have raced and beat.

Oh, when I said he ran 8.8 in the 1/8th mile, that was on 17inch street tires.
He just ordered some BFG's, and expecting to hit low 13's to high 12's with his current setup, just to put things into perspective on how his car runs.

i raced a stock gutted b16 with my I/H/E scion tc and he beat me by about 3-5 car lengths
There is not a single B16 in this world that dyno's at 160 whp stock..... Hi aen <3. Also The crx if it is just adding BFG's It should only be in the mid to high 13s, 12s is a stretch with that setup. The car most likely weighs in around 1900lbs.
Honda's are mainly good for cheap drag cars as forementioned. I used to have an EG with an H22 and that car left people wondering what the heck just happened. There are a lot of Honda owners (See Rice and taters thread)that give Honda's a bad wrap. That's why everyone talks bad about them. Me, I agree. I would just build one as a full sleeper. Bomb a$$ motor, stock looking exterior. But, they always get stolen...and so did mine almost 3 years ago. 20 years from now, those cars will still get stolen.

We shall see. Like I said, 8.8's in the 1/8th on 17inch street tires. The BFG's should knock him down to 8.3 to 8.4 I would imagine. If that's the case, it will run 12's.
8.8 is already mid 13's, so not sure where you are getting high 13's from with Drag radials.

That's why he bought the BFG's, to have them before next weekend. I won't have tires, but he will be on DR's. I will bring the camera to get his runs recorded.
The 8.8 1/8th mile IS at a drag strip...

B16's are over rated.
B18 with B16 head is another story.
Also, the B16A stock redline is 8200. Nothing special about that.
B16A - 8200
B16A1 - 8200
B16A2 - 8200
B16A3 - ??? Only used in Del Sol
B16A4 - 8200
B16B - 9200
Actually, the B16B produces 180BHP, so that would turn out to around 160WHP.
Oh, and fix your wiper.
