Default Wastegate Install

So I am putting everything together I can, and have run into a snag... for some reason the valve seat on my wastegate doesnt sit flush with the flange... Im guessing this is not normal because due to this I cannot make a good seal w/ the manifold flange... Am I missing something?... Any insight?... Thanks!

Here are some pics... I also flip the seat around to see how the large portion fit to see if that were the cause or the center ring that contacts the valve...

My bad, springs right... But for some reason when the diaphragm is depressed all the way down, it's like the valve is just a tad too low, and that's what the seat is hitting...

Im sure it can be adjusted, or possibly I can install base on the manifold and install the spring after... Just wanna get some input!

Thats how its supposed to be. It will be flush when you tighten down the bolts. I remembered when i got my tial for my integra i was nervous about the same thing til I bolted it all together. Worked like a charm..

Yea I was going off a slight gap that I could see light through on the ends, but then realized w/ the way the gasket is it is probably a normal thing... Thanks!!!
