Id really like to know this as well. Mine slipped with just a few bolt ons from time to time. Mainly under partial throttle though, never under full throttle.

my clutch is still fine, no noticable slipping yet....pretty soon im sure though, track day coming soon =/ and no offense but it depends on drivers too some can be horrible manual drivers and burn the crap out of their clutch and of course it would slip sooner than others

Hey guys. I have the greddy with the AT.
Thurs i was on the turnpike and I accelerated to pass some annoying cars, and when i did the car felt like it held back. Kind of like it didn't want to go. It did the same thing yesterday evening. Last night I checked everything to make sure there wasn't a boost leak or air problem. One intercoller pipe seemed a bit iffy so I redid it. But I'm still worried about it. Even tho it ran fine this morning. Does any one have any suggestions as to why it might have done this?

Ok, I'll give you this one for free...

When the automatic tranny shifts the RPM's drop and compressor wheel surges this slows down the turbo. That lag you experience in acceleration is the wheel picking up speed again.

In a car with a manual transmission the RPM drop enough between shifts to open the BOV. On the auto's since the RPM's don't drop enough between shifts the BOV does not open -Not unless you let go the throttle. Which you really should not do if you want to go fast...

I'm not saying it's not a tuning issue -but compressor surge is also a player in acceleration lag -especially when the A/T shifts right before the incident.

ok ill look into that.
But it not really when it shifts, i think. both times it was when i was like goin 60 mph and accelerated to like 75 or 80 or tried to really fast. It went when I slowly accelorated but when i tried to step on it basically it pulled bk.

As far as tuning im having someone else tune it next month they just were out of ther area. But im sure that partially to do. I really appreciate ur feedback tho.
anything else u can think of let me know.

thanks
- Veronica
