Default what is the difference in exhaust kits?

i am not very knowledgeable when it comes to cars so i was wondering the difference between a cat-back, turbo back and a axel back exhaust systems? i have a turbo in my car and i want the deep sounding exhaust kit that adds hp to my car. Thanks for the help.

it's all where the aftermarket exhaust starts...axle-back is from the rear axle to the back of the car, cat-back is from the s-pipe to the back of the car and turbo back includes downpipe, s-pipe and on back...i have a cat-back brand new for sale 2.25" piping 225shipped...going with a custom built i got offered with a lil bigger piping

Odd, every thread ive ever read on here states 2.25'' and I do remember one with someone actually taking off the exhaust and measuring it, it ranges between 2.17, and 2.35 if i remember right. Our s-pipe may have a spot around 2'' where it makes its bend.

well the main reason i went with 2.25" is that it is the same as the megan midpipes which a lot of people seemed to be happy with
