Default What intercooler pipes for a turbo toyotas v2.1 kit ?

I have a V2.1 tt kit but I hate how low the pipes hang. What pipes from what kit should I purchase that will be a closer fit ? I know I am going to have to make it work so its not that easy. thanks a lot.

I know some TT customers have used our pipes on their kits.

FYI, we have a Black Week Sale going on on them....

do you have pics on how low your pipes are? i think the dezod cold side would fit fine, the hotside im not sure if its a direct bolt on since the TT 2.1 turbo sits lower than dezod's.. It should be close though. I cant remember who did this, maybe brett from FL?

thats good to know.. was it Jeff the one with built tc, one of the first who tried the aem ems? Im gonna try looking at some dezod setup and see how close it is, not saying its not gonna fit... its just coz TT made few tubular manifolds and sometimes not all pipes fits perfect on his other kits..

what iv seen done is when they get damaged (the og pipes) is some replace the bend thats dented in with a 90degree coupler. it will flex if hit hard and will take alot of scraping befor you wear a hole on it. just an idea.

now the second gen pipes are alot better like flintmicatc has as well as the last of the pipes that came out of TT

oh it would be nice if it fits perfecty, i might try to change my hot side to 2.25.. i think the 2.5 is an overkill right now for low boost.

Yea if it dont fit use some couplers. They also sell individual bends of pipes in case you need to go that route with some extra couplers.

Depends on the TT manifold. There are like 5 renditions or more.

going too large can cause pressure drop just like with an intercooler.
