So decided to push it a bit farther today - got it to 23 psi before I started having fuel issues. I backed it down to 21.5-22 and god this thing is insane. Tearin up 3rd gear lol. Oh yeah and I need a new boost gauge - mine only goes to 20 psi so all I get is....

Decided to have a little fun - it was nice out tonight, finally dry, and I was having withdrawals from my car... lol Oh and I figured out with a little heat the Nt01's do pretty well for straight line traction From 3rd gear I stick pretty well if I dont go full throttle until over 60 ish

Thanks man, Im glad Im actually going to finally get to start enjoying this thing a lil more than I work on it haha. Another question, does anyone know, would making an intake pipe that pulls cooler air from down in the bumper area help performance at all? Currently Im just running a filter on the turbo right behind the radiator. Ive heard some people say it doesnt matter due to the intercooler cooling the heated charge air, but others say it does help improve cooling efficiency as the air is cooler to begin with. What's you guys' opinion on this?

So Im also in the process of refinishing this junk cf hood. Unfortunately the yellowing and discoloration is all the way down into the cf, but I was able to sand it down close to the weave and get most of it out, along with 99% of the oxidation. Idea 1 is just to clear it with several coats of a 2k urethane clear. Idea 2 is to paint the areas on the outside of the tape BCP to match the car, than clear the whole thing. Let me know what yall think, I still cant decide, and I need to buy paint tommorow if I want to paint the edges.

I have always been under the impression that an intake is more beneficial than just a filter, as the intake reduces the air turbulence entering the turbo.

Hell yea, Im hopin to leave work about an hour early to make it out there with plenty of time. I dont think Im going to get to sleep tonight or Friday night. Thank god for redbull and 5hr energy lol. Ill be at the Fast 5 premier tonight, than I need to take off my downpipe and weld the nice crack thats developed in it, than cut and buff the hood I cleared last night. BTW I ended up just clearing it all. I thought I had some BCP basecoat laying around but I was incorrect, and didnt want to spend an extra $50 on it. The hood looks pretty nice actually, it just needs to be color sanded than buffed out

So after all that, Im supposed to be going to a car show Saturday morning. I think Im just gunna leave my windows rolled up and the doors closed lol my interior is a disaster and I dont have time to clean it up and rewrap my A pillars :/

Rahhahahahahahahha

Oh yeah, but serious, I woke up this morning (after being out till 3AM for the Fast 5 premier) and took off my downpipe, welded the crack, and recoated it with some VHT for now. Its now reinstalled and Ive got everything in the car ready for the track tonight. Its off to work now - wont be off till 9 than Ill be headin to the track! Oh I also threw the hood back on, its not color sanded and buffed yet, but I dont think theyd let me run without a hood lol

So basically heres how tonight went down... Im a little dissapointed, but hey its only my second time with the car at the track so I guess I still have alot of practice to do.

The first pass, guess what, I blew off the i/c pipe coupler again haha. Wellll I already had the new coupler and tbolt in, and laying in a box in my car, I was just too lazy to mess with putting it on. So about 20 minutes in the pits after that run and I got the new coupler on and good to go.

Second pass, I had a B+ launch with a 1.91 60', but the car broke up bad at the top of second and third. Ran a 12.8 at 112mph.

After this run I checked the datalog and corrected the fueling issue...

Third, and unfortunately the final pass, I let the clutch out a lil too hard and it made the car bog, HARD lol - pulled a 2.42 60' but ran a 12.75 at 118mph. Soooo if you put my good 60' with that pass Id have a 12.25 lol

Anyways, I know the car has alot more in it, I just suck at launching it :/ Oh well just need more practice. I can post slips, but Im sure these numbers arent hard to believe. If I wudda got my 11 a slip would be up already lol
