Default What is an upgrade Spark Plugs for the Supercharged tC

The TRD Supercharger kit comes with the TRD Denso K22PR-U. Does anyone know how good these spark plugs are? I was thinking of getting some kind of Iridium Spark plugs. Can someone inform me on what brand is most reliable and suitable for the tC? Also, how much will it cost to get a set of Iridium Spark Plugs?

Well, it just cost me $50 for a set of Denso IK24's. Those are good for about 7-12psi turbo..

"Colder" plugs dissipate the heat of the combustion faster. The firing end of the plugs do not heat up as fast.

Higher compression ratios (Aka FI - Turbo & Superchargers) will raise the temperature of the engine cylinders and the tip of the spark plugs. To help prevent pre-ignition/detonation, and to add longer life to the engine, you run a colder spark plug (as well as higher octane fuel, etc).
