If you HG is blown, some other symptons could be a boiling overflow catch tank, an dextremely high water temperatures (seen on the water temp gauge).
when I had my turbo I started blowing out white smoke after a while and it was the turbo seals, I never really understood why everyone is saying that oil is blue
I was blowing white and when I opened up my turbo piping I had a lot of oil in the compressor housing

I still say it's the turbo seals.....i'm having that problem now and I'm waiting on todd to give me the green light to send payment to him so i can get the plumbing lines i need to swap on for my new turbo.
when I blew seals on the turbonetics turbos the smoke always had a blue tint to it. Maybe different oils burn different colors?
I always ran the turbonetics oil or Royal Purple.

different oils have different compounds and ammounts and will tend to have slightly different colors but most burn with a blue tint, ive even seen straight white.
