ok i think i should have done this before i posted this so this should make it easier for everyone to point out the location

ok guys that should help lol.. im going to be mounting the wideband on the top portion of the pipe or roughly 10 degrees off the top at an angle...

just pick a colored location were it should be placed..

what i might do also is move the o2 sensor to the back or front and use the current location of the bung in the picture as my location for the wideband.. thats my other option... so it first reads the wideband and then the 02... how ever i think the o2 should come first then the wideband correct? ...fkn turbo sht lol.. na is my strong point lol

I would put it where the pink spot it. That is where my wideband and 02 bung is placed on my dezod spipe. That is how it came so I think that is correct knowing dezod knows their stuff

is it on the top part of the pip going upward or on an angle.. im asuming on yours the wideband comes first then the o2? or is your o2 first then the wideband... ( going from front to back..)

the tt spipe has 2 bungs so I would say secondary... unless phil has a different pipe.. but it should be between the primary and secondary O2 sensor right?

as long as you dont have any cats on your exhaust, aywhere after the turbo is fine. my wideband is on my dp about 5 inches away from the turbo, and it reads the same as the 02 sensor at the dyno that goes at the end of the exhaust. just pick a spot thats convinent to get to should you have to change it. or even better, use the bung thats already there as the secondary 02 sensor is f*ckin useless.

Second...I'm pretty sure the wideband should be AFTER BOTH 02 sensors, but I guess I'll have to take a better look to make sure, although it doesn't really matter.
I would say the blue or green dot for your wideband.

mine is on blue, before the bend. Just make sure you have clearance, of things around it.

You know, in another thread, everyone was saying that the wideband should go inbetween the 2 stock 02 sensors. but mine is deffinatley higher then that. But I also have a different S-pipe then that one.

hmm...i didn't realize so many people have their widebands in the s-pipe.

mines in my downpipe, after the stock primary and after my cat (my downpipe is catted). what are the downfalls to having the sensor after the cat? i mean the sniffers at dynos go in the tail pipe right? and people use those readings to tune.

hmmm...i guess your right about the sniffer in the pipe for tuning, but I still think the cat would throw off the afrs that are actually going through your motor.

I still have the stock midpipe, and my tuner said I was showing 18afr from my tailpipe while my wideband (in the s-pipe, no cat) was reading 14.7.

you can put it anywhere on the exhaust. you could even put it at the end but you have to make something to block the outside air

thats actually false ^^^ u can really put it anywhere... i know they suggest 18 to 24 inches away from the turbo on average... i would say anywhere on the spipe past the oil pan would be best... given the area and surroundings..

you dont want so back that you'll run the risk of getting incorrect readings...

I think that is the question...is it getting incorrect reading by being after the cat?

well the cat is a catalytic "converter", so it must be doing something

Most WB O2 sensor manufacturers want the sensor approx 20-30" downstream from the heat source, so that would lead me to say the s-pipe not too far from the O2 bung pictured there.
