These prototypes are not a part of any dealership contract or terms of service so it would be voiding you're warranty most likely.

Don't you think that July or August, 2007 might be a little to late? The other companies already have a big head. I know alot of people want to hit the track in spring. Do you think some people can wait that long?

Yes, it's a long time to wait and some may not be able to wait that long. Personally I think the efficiency and improvements this kit offers over what is currently available will be worth the wait. Also that is around the same time frame the next generation xB will be out.

Times not really an issue for them considering the idea that if a dealership is trying to sell one to every person thats buying a scion TC / XB as a add-on then cha ching big dollars are going to be rolling. Im Vary exited about this and for right now im waiting, If i dont find a killer deal on a 350Z by the time all this should be falling into place then ill be buying a brand new tc.

Are you saying that the turbo kit might be an add-ons in summer as a dealer option or you can buy it later or are they going to do something like they did with the supercharger? you have the buy the kit right after you buy the car.

Word is you'll be able to do both AND you can finance it unlike the supercharger.

Luther is right, it's going to be very exciting. Imagine going to the dealer and picking up your tC or xB with the Chris Rado package.

If that is true. I might get a new tC with the Chris Rado package or just get the turbo kit for my current tC.

i think its great what they're potentially doing.

i dont think they need to worry about competition either. considering its not like people are rushing out to get turbos. the market is not "hot." and more often than not, those who are in it, are looking for quality hopefully. in which case, they will often wait, like us.

News flash no kit that removes a FEDERALY mandated catalytic converter will ever be sold by Toyota or Scion EVER! Keep dreaming. If you want factory boost go for a WRX or EVO otherwise pay to play. Welcome to the club.

Its going to be interesting the dealers install a turbo - ha - most (from what i hear from mannyyyyy people) dealers cant even get a simple s/c install done correctly or they opt to not even want to try.

Not all dealerships have an expert certified tech do the install, who should be the only ones performing the SC install. It's better they don't install it than botch the install, either way, it's wrong.

I imagine only techs with expert or master certification will be installing this kit.

If the prototype turbo kits cost $6,500. How much will the finally product cost?

Sounds like this kit comes with more then a normal turbo kit does for example a new oil pan where the ordinary kits you have to hole punch and tap it, so id expect it to be a little more pricey for the extra hardware that comes.
