WOW, $6500.... wish I had money to let loose, but this seems kinda steep. They don't mention if Toyota gave them permission to mess with the OEM ECU.

It makes sense that the next gen xB will run the tC drivetrain since it will come with the 2.4l stock. I'm surprised that the 2008 Corolla will come with a 2.4l since that's the camry engine -but the Matrix SR model comes with a 2.4 so maybe that will be the engine for the Corolla SR as well.

They should bring back AWD for the Matrix.

$6500 is a huge chunk of change, but to run 320HP at 8psi....damn. Think about how much you pay to run 260HP at 8psi with some other systems. That is much better efficiency on that turbo setup to be able to get 320HP out of the same boost pressure. If you got the money...or can save enough, go with this kit.

Yeah those Other kits gave us WHP numbers where these guys only said "The base 320+ horsepower (at 8 psi)" which for me is a toss up in the air as to how fast it really is.

Chris's Time Attack Scion tC with BorgWarner S200 laid down an incredible 337whp/352wtq at only 12 psi, overpowering the Ball Bearing GT-30R testing at only 310whp/312wtq at the same boost.

yea but the question is ....was it setup to last for X amount of time .....or built to last? .... Ide say it was built to push high #'s and not time.

i think the price is justified if it's a quality kit with good results. you cant low-ball good quality that supposedly everyone wants but nobody wants to pay for. for me its either this kit or turbonetics. i really want this one though.

We don't know if it is good, until people start to try it out. So first results, then the money will role for them. I wish them good luck.

When I spoke with Rado at this years SEMA show he stated they went away from the TRD/ecu deal and decided the UNichip will do the job perfect. The time attack car is running a 7800rpm redline. And all stock internals. He said the Tc is one of the most solid platforms for boost in the whole toyota family. Just keep your eyes on Rado FTW!

I'm really looking foreword to the possibility of Scion supporting the turbo and selling it right out of the dealers lot which would be warranty safe.

"Production level quantities of the Turbo Kits are expected to become available in July or August, 2007. " So I'm crossing my fingers that he's referring to the dealerships. But who knows, I'd love to get some inside rumors from the people at world-racing.
