Default WOW Smithtown Toyota ...

So, I went to pick up my new bumper and other parts to fix my car. While I am there I figure that I will check to see what the price is for install of the Supercharger, I am getting it next month. I figure that they will be on the high side ... maybe around $600, rather than the $500 or $400 that others have stated.

Before tax it was $1180 and some change ... 14 hours of work he stated.

Is this not astronomical?!!!!?!?!?!?

I will be looking elsewhere to do the install. Any recommendations for fellow NYers?

it sux cause we have no control over our service department and it just sucks to be put in the same boat as them with peoples experiences. You know we have nothing to do with service, so to be put on blast as a whole is kinda upsetting. Im sure you know where Im coming from man

I am sorry, I didnt mean to light a fire under anyones ***** about Smithtown Scion. Hence the "Smithtown Toyota" in the thread title.

I know that they are affiliated and I know that sometimes Vito doesnt have a choice but to go along with them ... and yes that is a VERY hard position. I deal with the same thing in my line of work.

Since the day I got my car Vito has been nothing but awesome, always answering questions I had, hooking me up with stuff ... and when I got into that accident the other night he hooked me up with new parts instead of getting bent over.

Again this was no way of saying anything bad about Smithtown Scion, of even Toyota, I was just really surprised at the price for install.

My apologies Vito.

Lock this up.

Vito, I in no way shape or form wanted to upset or ridicule you. I know you are an excellent Scion salesmen and truly care about your job and the Scion community. I know you bend over backwards for your customers and your scion people and I don't want to take anything away from you or Smithtown. But even though its something you can not control, its something that you have to be aware of. A dealership is not only sales, it does have a few other parts, so anything that the dealership does to not 100% satisfy a customer will reflect on the dealership as a whole, and that that specific department.
