I have to disagree with that statement.

Why does everyone keep talking like this is the first and only xB to run low 14's on boost? To be quite honest, they didn't even have to beef up the internals to run low 14's. They could have done this on a stock motor.

You forget this is in the F/I tC section? Outside of this area yeah, but not within this area.
i didnt know u put an xB in the 14's!! I thought u had a tC? And yea im talking about in the real world, that xB is faster than a crapload of tC's. Not getting into this internet racing BS again.

Of course I have a tC. Re read my comment. I said I've seen xB's in the 14's. What's the "real" world? The couple of tC's that live near you that happen to run crappy times? Again, this is the F/I tC section where you rarely see any 14sec boosted tC's. Lets not get ahead of ourselves now shall we. That statement applies to N/A'ed tC's, and a crap load of Supercharged tC's. But turbo tC's? That's bitting off a little to much...
uh, no. I think many boosted tC's here are faster than u actually, i'm not a bench racer though. I doubt u have seen xB's run in the 14's dont make up stuff. If u have, tell them to race... cause i havent seen any except my close friend. Out of all the events ive been to, I've NEVER seen a 14 sec 1st gen xB, never.

Your right, cause I'm just SOOO...Known for making stuff up. Like I said, not the first xB I've seen run low 14's. Just because YOU have never seen one does not equate to None Do not exist.

Let me guess, "if it is not on SL, or blown_xa has never seen it, then there is no such thing"...

I think you have me confused, I'm not trying to take away from this thread. Just saying that for a boosted xB, I would expect it to run in the mid/low 14's, because that's what I have seen a boosted xB run. On Drag radials that is.

of course you dont have to beef up the motor to put ties down like that, but a built motor will def last longer and do the job mor efficiently.

you guys so started a dam war about this ____! Todd was letting us know about the xb and the accomplishments.

i don't think the title said anything about... "boosted xb runs 14's... now lets hear the bull s h i t!

i'm sure people have boosted the factoy 1.5L, and maybe even ran 14's with it... and i bet its sitting somewhere with a blown motor too... or maybe not, who knows. point is.. the built motor in this xb has alot more potential than a boosted stock motor!

My 04 turbo'd box was a 14 second car...in an automatic...granted it wasnt low 14's like this which is definitely impressive...I was runnin a tiny lil T20bb at 6-12psi with multiple 13 psi runs around the street during tuning. Guess what, the new owner blew the rings on 3 out of the 4 pistons lol...It held up for a good year though running that hard at those boost levels
