Were there any stalling issues with the stage 0? I remember back in the day, Kaeon I believe had a stalling issue with his setup. When I had my Turbonetics setup, after reving it would stall out because it was so rich. Just seeing everyones thoughts and if they had a fix.

I'll have to take pictures of what I have from one of these kits I just posted up, going to convert to intercooled but without ems/injectors for now, this thread has been a lot of help so far.

Just to confirm, the ZPI stage 0 came with either the Tial or Turbo Concepts 38mm wastegate correct? Also, how do I confirm the spring inside is the 5-6 PSI spring? I had a bad incident involving my brother and the incorrect spring and a blown motor, I dont want that to happen with my tC.

i think the tial wg was an option on the zpi kits.
"bastard 20g" bwajajaja porting it would slow down the spool time.

speaking of i blew a coupler today gawd i wish i had a blow thru!!!
pull thru ftl!

Not using the same back housing porting it will give more top end

but porting the cold side and keeping the same size wheel would decrease its efficiency.

Correct but when u port it u put the 20g wheel in there so u will still spool the same with more top end power

I might have my old one... I will check. I added an IC setup and think this was left over.

I had stalling issues when venting to atmosphere - recirculating made a huge difference also noticed a large improvement after swapping from a TurboXS BOV to Synapse.

Here are some pics of my setup. Not a show car. This is my daily driver weekend warrior(AX). I would recommended a lightweight crank pulley. It seems to help at idle and on launches. I just picked up a TruBoost and plan on going up a few PSI this spring. I am running just under 6 PSI right now.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications: ZPI Turbo Kit, IC Piping, Synapse BOV, Motor Mounts, Greddy Blue tuned by ESP in Mass, Denso 550 Injectors, Ptuning 3" Axle-back, Light Weight Crank Pulley, Suspension Modifications: Hotchkis front and rear sway bars and braces. TRD Shocks with Votgland Springs, Ingalls Rear Strut Brace, Stainless Steel Brake Lines
