i gotta say that was a great response from most.. Thanks for al the info. Please continue to discuss and debate these things, it helps in my decision making. As for the Turbonetics, i love the way it looks, but on the other hand the ZPI kit has ALOT of track and proven numbers to turn some heads... Plus they are ALL about the tC, even to the point where they are developing major parts for the internals!! Now that is saying alot about a Co. willing to make and impact against other Co.'s!!!

I have heard great things about both, and the one year warranty from Turbonetics is ok just for that first year, but i have heard ZPI back their product to those that actually buy from them. I dont speak for them, but from what i can see they stand by everything they do, from what i have read from their customers.

they live in Kentucy, which is a bit far for me, (a little under 16hrs from Dallas TX), and i would most likely drive out to them for my Stage1 Install and Tune. We have JoTech Racing here in my area which could do the rest of the tune if needed, and for those who do not know JoTech off hand, they are the builders of the fastest tC on the road. It is the Nitto tC with around 600HP... Serious buisness... they are expensive, but reliable enough for issues. there are alot of poeple here that could help me out as well.. My only issue is WHICH ONE!! LOL...

thanks for all the comments, grea to hear more... thanks ZPI for your comments. another reason i an inching toward them than turbonetics.. they(zpi) are always here....

One weekend I roadtripped over there - it was definitely worth it. The drive was long but I had a lot of fun. I can't speak for Turbonetics but I can say that if you get the ZPI S1 you absolutely won't regret it!

Turbonetics is always here too. In fact they sponsor this forum!! I try to keep up with posts the best I can but being an engineer at my job things get hectic and its not always easy to keep up. In addition to sponsoring this board Turbonetics has a forum dedicated to its customers to answer questions, get part numbers, post pics of your ride, get the latest info, etc. www.turboneticsownersclub.com And I think if you ask any of the Turbonetics owners here they will agree the kit is a true bolt on, turn key system. No need to run to a tuner the minute you buy a kit to have the car tuned. The out of box tune from the Unichip is incredibly safe and makes great power on top of that. No to mention that no one in the industry offers the type of warranty Turbonetics does. 12k mile/12 month no fault no hassle. If you suck a rag through the turbo its replaced free. Even if you wreck your car as one unlucky member did Turbonetics will replace the damaged turbo kit parts free. No one else in the industry can make that claim. Their customer service is top notch to go with their kit.

Anytime ive ever contacted Turbonetics They have been great. They know there crap about turbos and very willing to go out of thier way to make me happy and I'm sure they are that way with everyone.

Well it seems that ZPI has gotten alot better in there shipping skills. It seems that they have a ton of turbo'd cars on scionlife. IMO I dont think you could go wrong with any of the 3, Turbonetics, Dezod or ZPI.

Dezod ( Reasons)

* has been promient in the development of turbo tC since day one
* Knowlagable
* Customer Service And Support
* Good Price
* Top of the line turbo components
* High HP/TQ Gain at low boost

My Personal Subjective views

* Ease Of Install And Intercooler Mounting ( I have helped install a kit)
* Great Looking Kit

Mind you that the DEZOD tC is daily driven by Joe and runs and idles SMOOTH

Cant beat that... guy uses his own kit on his personal tC

Call Paul or Joe or shoot them an email. They will respond or call/ email u back

Im in the same postion as you getting ready to boost... but after working with the kit on friends cars and seeing joes car in action i would never dream of doing anything else

Happy Boosting whatever u do man!!!!

I have been reading now the Dezod's T.E.A. Kit. I havent heard much until recently.. I have the time to decide, but man the competition is strong between these 3 mojor companies. With more Companies jumping in, i am sure there will be atleast two others before the middle of next year taht people will think its all the rage... IT seems the more i read its a coin flip to say the least. I would choise quality over anything else, but even that is hard to say..

Again tahnks to those that ACTUALLY have their respective kits, and the comments that this thread is recieving.

Would you buy from a company that didn't run their own product? Of course they run their own turbo kit!

As do all of the ZPIracing tC's.

Sean daily drives the black tC (it's his company car) with a Stage 1
Kenny drives the silver tC (not currently as it is being caged) with lets just say a Stage 5

Our gray tC, obviously isn't driven daily, but will run a ZPI kit. Kenny's Mom's '07 tC will soon be running a Stage 0 on her daily driver.

When you daily your product, you can verify it's quality and learn so much more about it.

I love my ZPI kit... and am consistently building on top of it and upgrading it without an issue in the world.... I love the Pnp aspects of the kit and really love the innovation ZPI is constantly bleeding down to customers about what more can be done with the platform... and there is always something more they are developing in house... They fit my personality, always modding something, and super competitive.

They not only push tCs super far, but also are now heavily into the xB and soon, the xA world... so, they have the Scion platform solidly covered and have a superb knowledge of the cars.

Keisha and Kenny are solidly great people and I bought their product as a result of all my discussions with them and others who have their kits... Plus, there are SOOO many people on SL to ask questions of, or talk about changes with.... including me...

I get AIM'd at least twice a day to talk about things I have done and am more than willing to chat it up with you about my experiences with the ZPI kit if you'd like as well...

I have also been pondering this question, which one of the two is more reliable. I had a friend tell me that the EVO III GT Big 16g is a crappy turbo. Which makes me want the T3/T4. Has anyone had any trouble out of their 16g? Another problem is there is no tuner shops around here so the drive up to Kentucky wouldn't be too much cause I would have to go driving either way. But I am really enjoying everyone's posts so I am definately watching this one.

BTW what is the expected install time on the ZPI Stage 1? I know Turbonetics claims 6-8 hours which I dont believe but I would really appreciate some input from people with either one.

Sean was at the shop around 10pm, boxing up turbo kits to get to Fedex tonight. That's some dedication. I personally own a ZPI kit, and all of my vids lets you know how tried and ture the kit is. It's solid, and hammers hard.
