got an aftermarket shift ****? post a picture here to give the rest of us ideas

 

TWM short shifter, a polished MR2 Spyder **** from Voodoo Racing

 

whoa!!! that looks nice. short shifter and **** makes a huge difference. can you notice a difference when you shift?

 

Quite a bit. I was going nuts that the throws were so long before. Its nice to not have it sticking up like a pole too.

 

yeah, stock shifters are tall. good to know it performs better. that can save you time at the track. i bet that **** gets hella hot in the summer though.

Mine was the pearl finish, size 12 X 1.25mm(Spyder)

 

I've been looking for a different shift **** for my xB. Anyone know what the thread
pattern is on it, so I know what I can get away with?

I think all the scions have the same thread pitch for the shift *****, but not positive. You can measure pitch by counting threads against a centimeter ruler, and cut a slot in an index card to get the rough width.

And yeah I meant to say Pearl, not polished.

I spoke with Voodoo about getting the pistol grip in
polished for my xB, and he says he only has it in the ball
shifter for our cars.

I told him to keep me in mind should he change that.
